I spot the opportunity and move fast. Right now that’s IICCE.

I'm a UK businessman based in Birmingham. I run IICCE Limited, regulated housing plus support for vulnerable adults, and I'm building it into an industry leader.

— 01 / WHO I AM

I'm chasing my own growth, in wealth and in health.

I'm 30 this year. I've been building businesses since I was a teenager, and I've learned to trust myself. See the opening, go for it, and don't be scared to start again when something falls over.

Growth is the whole point for me. Wealth and health. I want to stay sharp, in my body and my mind, so I can keep doing the work. And I want to understand the world, above all the industry I'm in.

I'm becoming a real expert in the law around Supported Exempt Accommodation. What must be done, and what can be done. I'm not there yet. I work at it day in, day out, and I'm getting closer every day.

— 02 / HOW I GOT HERE

From selling to schoolmates to building IICCE.

  • Teens

    Buying and selling

I started trading young, selling to schoolmates, then moving into mini motorbikes. I learned to spot what people wanted and move fast.

  • Then

    Engines into property

The buying and selling led me into property, and property led me into an Airbnb business. It was going well for a while.

  • 2020

    Airbnb crashed, SEA opened up

Covid wiped the Airbnb business out. So I moved. Straight into Supported Exempt Accommodation, which I now run through IICCE Limited, and I haven't looked at anything else since.

  • Now

    All in on IICCE

I'm fully focused on IICCE, putting in real time under pressure. I want to know this industry better than anyone, and build the business into a leader while I'm at it.

— 03 / WHAT I DO

I run IICCE Limited, and I'm building it into an industry leader.

Supported Exempt Accommodation is regulated housing plus support for vulnerable adults. The home and the support come together, and the standard of that support is what makes a serious operator.

I run IICCE to that standard. I choose every property for suitability first, I deliver support to a clear standard, and I treat compliance as the job, not back-office admin. The standard comes first, and everything else is built on it.

The foundation of all of it is technology and data. I'm building IICCE to run as digitally as possible, using AI and the right tools wherever they help, to increase the support, widen access to it, raise the quality of care, and sharpen how the business and operations are run. That's the revolution I want to lead in this sector.

Do this work properly and the reward follows. People get a stable home and real support, and the business is rewarded on the balance sheet for it. I'm not hiding that. The money is the proof the work is right, never the reason for it.

— 04 / HOW I WORK
  1. 01

    Move fast on the opening.

When I see an opportunity, I commit to it. Speed is the advantage, and I'd rather act and adjust than wait for perfect.

  2. 02

    Work where it counts.

If the support is no good, nothing else matters. Get that right and the rest follows.

  3. 03

    Know the law.

I want to understand what must be done and what can be done. Compliance is the job, not the paperwork, and the more I learn, the better I run.

  4. 04

    Share what I learn.

What I work out, I pass on. The industry needs more serious operators, and I'd rather help build them than keep it to myself.

— 05 / STAY IN TOUCH

What I'm learning, now and then.

Now and then I'll send a note on IICCE, the SEA industry, and what I'm reading and learning. Courses will come later. For now I share what I learn here. No noise, and you can unsubscribe any time.
